A conversation between the works of Giopato&Coombes, Kim Simonsson and Ellen Ehk Åkesson

During Paris Art Week, in the rarefied atmosphere of autumn, Giopato & Coombes Paris Gallery transforms into a dreamscape where the tangible and the ephemeral merge. A Dream Woven in Moss and Mist invites visitors into an ecosystem where light, matter, and imagination intertwine in a suspended dialogue.
Bruma, a site-specific installation, hovers like an impalpable mist between presence and absence, dissolving clarity into wonder. Within this atmosphere emerge Kim Simonsson’s moss-coated children and Ellen Ehk Åkesson’s river-worn ceramics, carrying memories of childhood, forests, waters, and landscapes both lost and recalled.
The works inhabit the space as part of an ecosystem where balance arises through relationships — a meditation on light, transformation, and the interconnection between human and nature.
