About Flauti

One day in Venice, wandering through its alleyways. Arrived on the small island of Murano by boat, from the Fondamenta dei Vetrai we were two explorers in search of the right "soffio" (breath), to give life to the project we have in mind. Venice and its colors, between the lagoon and the sky. 

The warm people and the heritage they guard, in their gestures. All this was the inspiration for the Flauti collection, between human connections and glass art.

Uniqueness

Made from Murano hand-blown glass and turned brass, both noble and selected materials. Each module crystallizes a different breath and is unique, only vaguely similar to the next production piece by the artisan. Spontaneity and improvisation are part of the project and are promoted as proof of the handmade.

Matching Modules

The combination of matching modules, both chromatic and material textured, use different traditional Murano glass-blowing techniques and processes.

Past & Future

The traditional Muranese colors captured into the glass evoke the sunset of the Venetian lagoon, whilst combined with the glass lampshade, there is the custom-designed Softspot light source, a brass cylinder packed with the latest LED technology.  A match representing Venice, a cornerstone of romance set in a world of technological advancement.

The Flauti collection is always a combination of hand-blown Murano gems. The chromatic effect and all the subtle variations in the texture of this magical technique can be combined at will to create personalized colorways. 

Compositions can also be customized with multiple Flauti grouped together as reflections in the Venetian lagoon.
