About Gioielli

Sometimes we love finding secrets. Suddenly, we open our grandmother's antique jewelry box, and precious stones, noble materials, and memories of past beautiful times leave us mesmerized. A jewel brings its history, secrets, and passions, something we love to put into our light projects.

The Gioielli collection with its sculptural appliques is our tribute to the painstaking and passionate work of the goldsmith.

Material Balance

Sculptural appliques are the result of the perfect balance between the metal structure with its iconic frame, the precious stones mounted in it ranging from emerald to taupe, and the spherical crystal lens enclosed in a cylinder of shaped brass.

The Lost-Wax Casting Technique

The Gioielli includes a disk in brass with a raw materic surface, cast through the "lost wax" technique during meticulous handwork done one by one directly on the model.

The Battuto Finish

Precious stones are created in hand-blown Murano glass with a particular technique, called “battuto” finish. The result is obtained from different grindings on the glass surface, which become slightly irregular and the light flux interacts with.

Custom-Made

The Gioielli can be separated into single elements and combined at will to find new meanings. The final customized product becomes more like an art piece specific to each commission, recalling the jewelry masterworks.
