About Dewdrops

On a midsummer night, when the sky was full of stars, we were strolling in the park. Our attention was caught by small shining dots in the grass around our bare feet. They were simple dewdrops hanging from blades of grass, hit by the subtle moonlight.  

We were hit by the magic and simple beauty of nature, and our curiosity led us to create an abstract interpretation. This moment inspired us to develop a balancing mobile lighting structure that suspends dewdrops at night.

A Mobile Chandelier

Shiny sparkles in the night brought into the abstraction of a lighting structure with a distinctive personality. A mobile chandelier that finds its balance slightly and softly, like drops suspended on blades of grass.

Hand-blown Glass

Developed through a structure with brass arms, from which hand-blown transparent glass spheres bloom, evoking the reflections of dew glow.

Spotlights

The soft light effect, thanks to the LED light source inside each sphere, is supported by an indirect light, emitted upwards by two spotlights hidden inside the brass cones.

Custom-made

With innate compositional freedom, the Dewdrops chandelier combines rigorous structure with lightness. It is a modular mobile chandelier that extends into space. Custom creations have been designed, as if a constellation of dots hovering, to move slowly within space. 

When we look at each creation we can perceive the dialogue between glass transparency and brass compositional lines.
