Supply Chain Administrator

What we are looking for

G&C is looking for a professional to strengthen our organization in Supply Chain Operations and Production area. The employee will be involved in the production planning process as well as in delivery control and supervision.

He/she should oversee the production process, coordinating all administrative operations necessary for order management, control and inventory of raw materials and their packaging. An important part of his role is the relationship with suppliers, with whom he must be able to establish a respectful and authoritative relationship, based on in-depth knowledge of the product and the production process.
In addition to daily duties, he/she should work with other company departments, under coordination, to improve and implement necessary operating procedures.

Role Objectives

• Production planning and stock monitoring for products and raw materials

• Supply chain management with contract suppliers

• Suppliers relationship management

• Production costs control and potential savings estimates

• Negotiation of best supply conditions

Responsibilities

• Plan and draw up a production schedule

• Manage purchase order planning and stock level control

• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed

• Liaise with different internal departments and external suppliers to meet company target

• Collect and analyze data to generate production reports

• Issuing production orders (domestic and international)

• Monitoring production work in progress and documents preparation for logistic operations

• Manage the database relating to potential suppliers and oversee commercial relations with suppliers

• Proactively negotiate the definition of supply terms (price, delivery methods, delivery times, etc.)

• Monthly inventory of finished products and raw materials (Stock Monitoring)

Requirements

• Ability to work in an organized and methodical manner to meet timescales and deadlines

• Organized, proactive, with a good problem-solving and active listening approach

• Self-starter, assertive, with good communication skills

• Able to work independently and within a team

• Good English knowledge

• Good knowledge of purchasing planning and product procurement techniques

• Good knowledge of supplier relationship management

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in similar roles

• BA in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, Project Management or equivalent (preferred)

• Advanced knowledge of Excel and good overall PC skills

• Knowledge of ERP and MRP systems
