After years of designing for design companies and gaining high-level experience, two designers chose the light and decided to risk everything by launching their first independent collection. After 7 years, they are still moved by the same passion. What we are looking for

We try to make our customers’ dreams come true and recently opened our first Giopato & Coombes gallery in Milan as part of an unforgettable customer journey. We are looking for a design lover that enjoys inspiring and engaging with demanding architects, lighting designers and luxury consumers to manage this important touch point. This is where you could make a difference.

Your role

As the Showroom Manager you will be based in Milan and an active member of our sales team, following primarily Italian clients with a focus on our local customer network in Lombardia. On a daily basis you will be available for customers in the showroom with occasional travel to Architect’s studios. On a weekly basis you will report to our global brand ambassador based in Holland. On a monthly basis you will travel to Treviso for strategic sales meetings and meet the wider Giopato & Coombes dream team.


• A genuine host to all customers entering the Giopato & Coombes Gallery

• Develop new leads and maintain current relationships with our Italian customer network

• Provide in person or remote brand presentations to prospective customers

• Prepare sales quotations and orders in CRM/Management Software

• Work with our design team to develop bespoke lighting plans

• A local reference for event organization working together with our Creative Direction

• Manage the general upkeep of the Giopato & Coombes Gallery to ensure an impeccable presentation.


• You love engaging with demanding customers and offering great service is second nature

• You have successfully organized a showroom, retail or cultural space befores

• You have experience with event organization

• Able to actively listen and respond creatively and professionally to customers’ needs and desires.

• Proactive, organized, and hands-on approach with a strong eye for detail

• Perform well in an environment that values creativity and human connections


• 3 years of experience in retail, sales & marketing or hospitality

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Extensive knowledge of the design world and luxury trends

• Keen interest in contemporary art, fashion and culture

• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital network channels

• Fluent or professional in English and Italian

• B Driving License
